The Cathedral and the "Palacio Nacional" in Guatemala City

Posted 1 year ago by avatar mike in response to avatar iggy's question: Any important touristic sights in Guatemala City? (give a different answer) .

The centre of the town is the "Parque Central", that delimits the town plaza. To the east of the plaza, there is the Cathedral, built during the 17th century, a place one really should see once in Guatemala. Next to the cathedral there is the colonial mansion of the Archbishop. Right aside, the Palacio Nacional, another important sight in town
