The best area to visit in Guatemala City is the old centre of the city, Zona1. It may be busy sometimes around there, since it's an ancient shopping area, but it's okay if you want to find a good restaurant or hotel. In case you're heading for the museums, the southern part of the city would be the best option. (Zona 4, 9,10 and 14)
